United for Hope Walk Series – Allegany County
This September, something powerful is happening across Western New York.
Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties are coming together for the first-ever United for Hope Walk Series—a bold, tri-county movement to raise awareness, break stigma, and prevent suicide.
Each county will host its own local walk, but we’re united by one shared truth:
💥 Hope Walks Strong.
This year’s theme says it all. Together, we’re showing the world that hope isn’t just a feeling—it’s a force. A force that moves us. A force that connects us. A force that saves lives.
🧡 Form a Team. Walk with Purpose. Fundraise for Local Impact.
We’re calling on YOU—our families, neighbors, workplaces, schools, and friends—to form teams and fundraise for your local suicide prevention coalition. This isn’t just a walk. It’s an act of love, of remembrance, and of action.
Funds raised in Chautauqua County stay in Chautauqua.
Funds raised in Cattaraugus County stay in Cattaraugus.
Funds raised in Allegany County stay in Allegany.
Every dollar you raise goes directly to training, outreach, grief support, and lifesaving resources in your own community. Your walk. Your county. Your impact.

💙 Why This Collaboration Matters
This series isn’t just symbolic—it’s a game-changer. For the first time, three counties are linking arms and stepping forward with a shared mission: to prevent suicide and support those affected by it. We’re crossing borders, breaking down silos, and proving that regional collaboration can move mountains.
💬 “This is more than a walk—it’s a message,” said Carri Raynor, Director of the Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County. “It’s a message that no one walks alone. That our communities care. And that Hope Walks Strong—when we walk together.”
