If you encountered someone in a medical emergency, you’d likely know how to provide First Aid. But what if you met someone in an emotional crisis, maybe even struggling with thoughts of suicide? Would you recognize the signs? Would you feel ready to help?

Join Our Link to Hope Workshop
In this 60-minute workshop, you’ll gain the essential skills needed to identify when someone might be in distress and learn how to provide compassionate support.

In This Workshop, You Will Learn:

  1. Recognize Cues for Help: Understand how a person struggling with thoughts of suicide might reach out, whether directly or indirectly.
  2. Confidently Start the Conversation: Approach someone in distress and ask directly and openly about suicide with empathy and assurance.
  3. Know What to Do if They Say ‘Yes’: Learn how to respond effectively and offer support if someone admits they’re thinking about suicide.
  4. Offer Meaningful Support: Provide a safe, temporary connection—much like First Aid—until the person can access additional help.

Be ready to be the link to hope when it’s needed most.
